- Marie's seventeen-year-old Elizabeth has the perfect life, with a seemingly wonderful boyfriend. Meanwhile, single parent Le Ann is raising sixteen-year-old Kelli and finds it hard to relate to the pressures her daughter is facing with boys, friends, and school.
