Summary
"The Civil War back East wasn't much of Adam Sanchez's business, but he fought to preserve the Union. After the end of hostilities, and disillusioned by bigoted treatment because of his Comanchero heritage, Sanchez returns west and teams up with fellow veteran Nelson Cook, now the sheriff of Luther, Wyoming. Cook deputizes his friend to get out of a jam. Shortly afterwards, Deputy Sanchez and Sheriff Cook find themselves on both sides of the law when they corral a murderous bandit and then help themselves to his stolen loot. But their plans go south when the bandit's gang shows up wanting more than their money . . . they want vengeance. Violence begets violence when Sanchez and Cook engage the gang in one horrific showdown after another. Just as the gun smoke clears, a timely double-cross reignites the fuse, and the mayhem explodes out of control. After much bloodshed, Sanchez attempts to untangle himself from this mess, but fresh trouble arrives in the form of Tess Buchanan, the woman who once spurned him and now has come west with an agenda of her own. Luther, Wyoming is a tale of larceny, betrayal, and the return of a lost love to help set things right"-"--, Provided by publisher
