Summary
Natalie Clark knew never to ask her adoptive mother about her past. She knew only that her birth mother signed parental rights over to the state when she was a baby. Now her own daughter must complete a family tree for school, and Natalie sets out to find the truth. Brooke Walker was separated from her mother and little sister at four. Raised in a state facility and foster homes, Brooke survives by relying on herself. But now she's pregnant. Scared and confused, she feels lost until a surprise encounter gives her hope for the future
